Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information Updates
« Back to listings

The health and well-being of our learning community is a priority to all of us as we continue to closely monitor the novel coronavirus (COVID-19 ) situation. Senior administration has been meeting regularly to review operational procedures, should any adjustments be needed.

At this time, the risk to Saskatchewan residents remains low.

As of March 11, 2020, there are no laboratory confirmed cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the province. However, this situation could quickly change. As of March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the global coronavirus outbreak a pandemic.

This change in outbreak status means the College will continue to connect with federal, provincial and local public agencies to prepare for any operational modifications that may need to occur. We will continue to provide relevant updates.

Please continue to take these recommended steps to help reduce or prevent illness:

  • Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
  • Use alcohol-based hand sanitizer if soap and water are not available.
  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve when coughing or sneezing.
  • Throw away used tissues as soon as possible and wash hands afterwards.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
  • Stay home if you are sick.
