Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information Updates
« Back to listings

This fall, Carlton Trail College intends to deliver its programs and courses through a blend of in-person and distance learning methods, including online delivery. At this time, educators feel a combination of in-person classes, online instruction and distance education options gives students the best chance of academic success during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

As the health and safety of our learning community is a priority, the College is committed to following the guidance of our provincial government, through the Re-Open Saskatchewan Plan, our health agencies and the Chief Medical Health Officer. We have also been working closely with our partners in post-secondary education as we plan for fall delivery. The College’s blended learning approach will follow established principles and protocols to ensure compliance with government health directives.

Access to Carlton Trail College learning locations will remain restricted this spring, summer and into the fall. Staff and students will continue to work and learn from home.

Starting in September, the College’s blended model will combine online, classroom, laboratory, shop, clinical and physical instruction. A cautious, blended approach will allow us to tailor a response that works for students, accrediting agencies and within our program locations. It will also permit the College to closely monitor program implementation and to make adjustments, if necessary.

Details about specific programs will be communicated as soon as possible.

Current and prospective students are encouraged to watch Carlton Trail College’s website at for further information.

There are no tuition increases for Carlton Trail College programs delivered over the 2020-2021 academic year.

Please continue to refer to and the Re-Open SK Plan for the most up-to-date and accurate COVID-19 information for the province.
