Are there any tuition increases?

Carlton Trail College will not be increasing tuition or fees for the 2020-2021 academic year. We are committed to supporting our learning community transition to different learning experiences during this time. The quality of our educational approach and value of the credentials you would receive remains the same.

What if I am having difficulties completing any pre-requisites or getting program documents or requirements?

COVID-19 has presented some challenges in areas that may require a pre-requisite or additional information submitted with an application. Please submit your application to your desired program and we will follow-up with you to help complete your application.

I need to upgrade. How does this affect my application?

Carlton Trail College offers upgrading opportunities such as Adult Basic Education 10 and 12 programs. These programs are offered throughout the region. Please contact a student advisor to discuss your situation.

What if my education is being funded through student loans or by a sponsoring agency?

It is recommended that all students maintain regular communication with their loans agency and/or sponsoring organization. As each agency or organization has their own policy, it is important that you remain aware of the status of your funding.

Financial resources, referrals and support are also provided by our student advising team.

When can students return to regional learning locations and facilities?

The majority of classes at Carlton Trail College resume on September 14, 2020. Start dates will vary for different programs. Details on when students may be in a classroom, lab or shop will be communicated directly to you, as per that program's learning requirements.

What do I need to help me learn from home?

To support our blended learning approach, students should have access to a computer and the internet from their home, or from a safe learning environment. For the best experience, we recommend using a desktop or laptop computer.

Specific programs may require you to use different software or platforms. These requirements will be communicated directly to you and/or provided via your program.
