To assist students experiencing financial hardship, the federal government has announced details about the Canada Emergency Student Benefit (CESB) program. This financial support is available to post-secondary students (including recent post-secondary and high school graduates) who are unable to find work due to COVID-19. Starting May 15, 2020, students may apply online or by phone. Find further details online at: www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/benefits/emergency-student-benefit

Interested in a Carlton Trail College program? Please note the Early Application Scholarship deadline has been extended to June 15, 2020! You could be entered to win a $1,000 scholarship! Visit our student awards page to learn more about scholarships, bursaries and other available awards.

Planning for the fall term is ongoing. And while some of our programs make look a little different depending on the COVID-19 pandemic situation, please know that Carlton Trail College is dedicated to providing our students with the skills graduates need to succeed. The health and safety of our learning community continues to be a priority. Decisions will follow the guidance of our provincial government, health agencies and the Chief Medical Health Officer.

Please be aware Premier Scott Moe has extended the province’s State of Emergency for another two weeks.  All public health orders remain in effect, including physical distancing and restrictions on gatherings. For everyone’s health and safety, please keep these public health measures in mind. Phase 2 of the Re-Open Saskatchewan Plan begins May 19.

A reminder that College operations are “closed” to mark Victoria Day on Monday, May 18.

To everyone in our learning community ... stay well, stay safe and enjoy the long weekend!
