Overview

Explore careers in the metal trades.

This 8-week program will introduce you to three careers needed in the mining industry:  Millwright, Pipefitter and Ironworker. You’ll gain practical knowledge and industry exposure to the tools, language and types of work people in these trades do.  You’ll earn safety tickets such as First Aid/CPR/AED, SCOT Safety, WHMIS, Fall Protection and Confined Space.  You’ll enhance your employability skills and work on a portfolio to take with you for job interviews.  Also included is a 60-hour work experience component.

You may receive a training incentive.
