Local Partners Enhance Paramedic Training with Simulated Scenario

Jan 31, 2025

Prior to the program’s completion, Carlton Trail College’s Primary Care Paramedic team collaborated with the Humboldt Fire Department and Humboldt and District Ambulance Service to conduct a simulated motor vehicle collision training scenario.

Students participated in hands-on training, gaining invaluable real-world experience while practicing emergency response techniques. After the simulation, all partners gathered for a debriefing session, discussing the scenario and offering feedback to the participants.

This successful training event is a true example of community collaboration, with local organizations coming together to support and enrich the educational experience of our students.

Appreciation is extended to all organizations, including the City of Humboldt, Public Works Department, who provided the facility for this exercise.
