Carlton Trail College is committeed to protecting the privacy, confidentiality, and security of personal information in its custody or under its control. The College complies with the Local Authority Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (LA FOIP) and other applicable legal requirements.

We may also collect limited technical information needed to operate, secure, and improve our websites, systems, and online services.

Personal information is used to administer programs and services, process applications and registrations, communicate with individuals, support student success, manage employment relationships, maintain safety and security, process payments, meet legal and reporting obligations, and improve College services and operations. Some College services require users to sign in using College credentials or trusted identity services. To provide secure access, the College may use identity and access management technologies and share limited information, such as a name, email address, username, or role, with approved service providers where necessary to authenticate users and deliver services. Only the information reasonably required for those purposes is shared.

SMS/Text Messaging

Carlton Trail College may use text messaging for service-related communications such as appointment coordination, student support, operational notices, responses to inquiries, or other non-marketing purposes.

The College does not sell mobile phone numbers or SMS-related information and does not share SMS consent information for marketing purposes. Recipients may opt out of SMS communications at any time.

Disclosure and Protection of Information

Carlton Trail College does not sell personal information. Information is disclosed only when authorized or required by law, necessary to deliver College programs or services, or with an individual’s consent where required.
