53 BHP Scholarships Awarded to Post-Secondary Students

Oct 03, 2025

BHP and Carlton Trail College are pleased to announce the recipients of the BHP Jansen Scholarship Program for 2025. This scholarship program provided $124,500 to 53 recipients pursuing post-secondary education and training opportunities in a field of their choosing.

Carlton Trail College is a partner in this initiative, administering the program on BHP’s behalf.

“Post-secondary education and skills training open doors to opportunity, equipping individuals with the tools to build brighter futures for themselves and their families, and is often the first step toward a rewarding and impactful career,” said Karina Gistelinck, Asset President Potash, BHP. “We are thrilled to partner again with Carlton Trail College to help support youth from our community in reaching their educational goals. Congratulations and best wishes to all of this year’s recipients.”

“Thanks to our strong collaboration with BHP, we’re proud to support educational and training opportunities for students from communities connected to the Jansen project,” said Amy Yeager, President and CEO of Carlton Trail College.

The program offers scholarships to students from eligible schools and communities near the Jansen Potash Project, including 30 community schools and six First Nations.

The 2026 application period will open in the spring. Details and application forms will be available on Carlton Trail College’s website.
