Carlton Trail College is encouraging prospective students to apply early for the 2026–27 academic year with the return of its Early Application Scholarships – an opportunity to be rewarded simply for planning ahead.
Students who apply to eligible full-time, post-secondary programs 12 weeks or longer by the early application deadline will be automatically entered to win one of several $1,000 Early Application Scholarships. No additional scholarship application is required.
“Applying early helps students secure their spot, plan financially, and prepare for success,” said Jennifer Brooks, Advancement and External Affairs Director. “The Early Application Scholarship is our way of rewarding students who take that important first step.”
Key Deadlines to Know
Students are encouraged to take note of the following early application deadlines:
- Practical Nursing – Early Application Scholarship Deadline:
April 30, 2026 - Early Application Scholarship Deadline for the 2026–27 Academic Year:
May 15, 2026
The May 15 deadline applies to students applying to the following programs:
- Carpentry
- Continuing Care Assistant
- Early Childhood Education (Diploma)
- Industrial Mechanics
- Office Administration
- Plumbing and Pipefitting
- Practical Nursing
- Primary Care Paramedic
- Welding (Applied Certificate)
To be eligible, students must submit a complete application to one of the eligible programs by the applicable deadline. All eligible early applicants will then be entered into the scholarship draw.
As an added incentive, students who apply to the Electrician program will be entered into a draw for a $2,500 Flyer Electric Entrance Scholarship!
