Carlton Trail College and Futuristic Industries Launch 5-Year Student Scholarship

Oct 01, 2025
Carlton Trail College is pleased to announce a new partnership with Futuristic Industries to establish the Futuristic Industries SIOS Scholarship, a five-year initiative supporting students in healthcare and community service programs.

Thanks to a generous contribution from Futuristic Industries – to be matched annually by the Saskatchewan Innovation and Opportunity Scholarship (SIOS) program – one, $1,000 scholarship will be awarded each year from 2025 to 2029. The scholarship will be allocated annually to eligible students pursuing full-time, post-secondary studies at Carlton Trail College.

Preference will be given to students enrolled in Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) programs or those pursuing careers aligned with Futuristic Industries’ values, including healthcare, human services, and community support.

Carlton Trail College extends sincere gratitude to all its donors who continue to invest in student success. Their support is especially meaningful as students face increasing financial pressures while pursuing post-secondary education.

The first scholarship will be awarded in late fall 2025, with representatives invited to meet the recipient during Carlton Trail College’s annual Student Awards Celebration. Both Carlton Trail College and Futuristic Industries have been trusted community organizations for over 50 years. This partnership reflects their shared commitment to education, inclusion, and community development and aligns with Futuristic’s core value to “Do Love First,” by putting compassion and care at the heart of their support for students.
