Overview

Heavy Equipment Operator Industry Training Program

Love the thought of having control over a large piece of machinery? The Heavy Equipment Operator (HEO) Training Program provides the basic training for working with large equipment.

This program includes theory, safety tickets, and hands-on training on real equipment at a job site just outside of Punnichy. You’ll train on two pieces of equipment which may include the crawler tractor, excavator, front-end loader or motor grader. You’ll also earn safety tickets such as First Aid/CPR ‘C’ and Ground Disturbance II. This program also includes Essential Workplace Skills.

When you complete this program, you’ll be prepared to operate heavy equipment in the construction, pipeline, or mining industry.

This 8-week program is offered in the Punnichy area and is opened to TATC members.
