Plumbing and Pipefitting Sask Polytechnic Applied Certificate

The Plumbing and Pipefitting Applied Certificate program provides entry-level practical knowledge and skill development in plumbing installation, water supplies, waste systems, and plumbing fixtures. Practice in class, then develop your skills further during the work experience component at the end of the program!

When you graduate, you’ll be prepared for a variety of entry-level employment opportunities with plumbing contractors and construction companies, as well as with maintenance departments in power, mining or manufacturing companies. Plumbers install, replace and maintain water and sewage systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings. Many are also licensed gas fitters.

Trade time and academic credit may be available to graduates who find employment in the trade and register as an apprentice.

The program is approximately 17 weeks long.
