BHP Potash Academy

Industry-aligned training for mining careers.

Potash Career Training Starts Here

Carlton Trail College is proud to collaborate with BHP to deliver the BHP Potash Academy – an innovative, paid training program designed to prepare individuals for careers in Saskatchewan’s potash industry.

The program combines classroom learning with hands-on workshop experience, leading to industry-recognized certifications in mining and industrial mechanics. Program participants are equipped with the practical skills and knowledge needed to transition directly into full-time roles at BHP’s Jansen mine.

This partnership strengthens the connection between education and industry, supports regional workforce development, and contributes to the long-term growth of Saskatchewan’s dynamic mining sector.

More information on the Potash Academy and how to apply can be found at career8.successfactors.com.
