Potash Career Training Starts Here

Carlton Trail College is proud to collaborate with BHP to deliver the BHP Potash Academy – an innovative, paid training program designed to prepare individuals for careers in Saskatchewan’s potash industry.

Through this partnership, Carlton Trail College provides the program’s core training and instruction, combining its expertise in applied learning with BHP’s industry leadership. This training is delivered through a blend of classroom learning and hands-on workshop experience, leading to industry-recognized certifications in mining and industrial mechanics. Participants graduate from the program ready to step directly into full-time roles at BHP’s Jansen mine.

This partnership highlights the College’s role in developing skilled talent, strengthens the connection between education and industry, supports regional workforce development, and contributes to the long-term growth of Saskatchewan’s dynamic mining sector.

Individuals interested in this program must apply directly through BHP.
