If helping people is in your future, we want to help you get there. Students who apply to Carlton Trail College’s 2024-25 Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) program will be entered into a draw for the chance to win their entire tuition!

Individuals have until August 9 to apply for a Carlton Trail College CCA program for the upcoming academic year to be eligible to have their tuition cost covered.

CCA programs start in late August and are offered at Carlton Trail College’s Humboldt and Wynyard learning locations. Programs will run three days a week, over a 10 month time period.

“As part of the post-secondary sector in Saskatchewan, we’re committed to training future healthcare professionals,” said Deanna Gaetz, Carlton Trail College Business and Skills Training Director. “One of those urgent needs is for Continuing Care Assistants, which the Province continues to identify through its Health Human Resources Action Plan.”

Continuing Care Assistants deliver assistance to clients in various healthcare environments such as nursing homes, long-term care homes, retirement homes, client homes or hospitals.

The goal of the CCA Win Your Tuition promotion is to encourage individuals to consider starting a career in healthcare, while potentially reducing the financial cost of doing so.

All eligible applications will be entered into a random draw, with the successful student recipient being confirmed in August.
