Admission Requirements
Intake and assessment are required prior to being accepted into the program.
This 13-week training program combines technical training, industry-recognized safety certifications, and valuable workplace experience to help students enter the workforce with confidence.
This program includes the 10-week SIIT Outdoor Power Equipment Repair Applied Certificate, a 2-week industry work placement, and safety training. You’ll learn about the repair, maintenance and operation of a variety of outdoor power equipment including small engine repair, chainsaws, snowmobiles, ATVs and outboard motors. You’ll also earn safety tickets in First Aid and CPR, Confined Space, SCOT, WHMIS, Fire Safety and Transportaiton of Dangerous Goods.
Participants may be eligible for funding.
