To mark the 2023 National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, staff and students at all College locations were encouraged to wear orange shirts and to participate in a variety of activities meant to increase awareness and understanding about the history of the residential school system in Canada, while offering messages of hope and support to survivors.

In Humboldt, Carlton Trail College and Humboldt Collegiate Institute students and staff took a few moments for reflection before embarking on a reconciliation walk around our learning grounds.

Over 350 individuals took part in this activity, demonstrating our continued work towards creating inclusive and supportive communities.
